Carol Markey

Dedicated Board Member with the St. Augustine Community BandCarol played clarinet through high school and college.  Throughout her college years, she majored in business and business education, maintaining her interest in music by playing clarinet in many ensembles.

Carol retired as an administrator at Jones College in Jacksonville, FL in 2002 and moved to Brevard, NC, where she played in the Brevard Community Band and formed an early music consort, Musicke Antiqua.  After moving back to Florida in 2012, Carol formed another early music consort, Dulcinea, and she continues to play in other musical organizations, some of which are listed below:
